Timothy Keller is an American pastor and theologian. He graduated from Bucknell in 1972 with a Bachelor's degree and pursued his interest in religion by completing his Master of Divinity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 1975 and his Doctor of Ministry at Westminster Theological Seminary in 1981. Keller is the author of several New York Times bestselling books and is the founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City.

Timothy Keller visited Wake Forest in October of 2016 to share his thoughts on the relevance of Christianity in today's society. In his lecture he sought to detail how religion, particularly Christianity, is still growing despite rapid changes in society brought about by developments in technology.
